CONFORAMA
Cloud implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP for CONFORAMA including integration with eCommerce, POS, WMS, TMS and full traceability of each component from Production until end customer (B2B and B2C).

The centralization of its logistics operations on this large platform will be key in Conforama's expansion strategy in the Iberian Peninsula, since according to David Almeida, General Director of Conforama in Spain and Portugal. “Retail has changed a lot and will continue to change, so optimizing the supply chain is the key to responding to new challenges. With this project, we take a very important step to improve the availability of our offer, while reducing delivery times to our customers. All this will contribute to continue growing in our online commerce activity. For Conforama, the Iberian Peninsula is a strategic market and this year, we will continue with a high rate of openings with the aim of bringing our extensive multi-style offerings to all Spaniards and Portuguese. "
The company CONFORAMA, which already has a network of 47 establishments in Spain and Portugal and which will continue betting on this market with the opening of new stores throughout 2019, is now accelerating its expansion plan with the construction of this new logistics center.

After the last opening, this December in Cadiz, the group closes 2018 with a total of 37 stores in Spain and 10 in Portugal, and more than 2,300 jobs, after opening in Churra (Murcia), Córdoba, Santander, Castellón and Sagunto (Valencia) in the last twelve months. "This will be the expected trend for the next few years", explains Almeida and places the annual investment at around 50 million euros for an average of five annual openings between Spain and Portugal, with the creation of between 250 and 350 jobs.
Meanwhile, its expansion through commercial areas will continue. In Catalonia, for example, where "the administrative procedures are so cumbersome that it is difficult to open an establishment", laments Almedia, the brand has four stores and has projects to approach the nuclei of Girona -with a store in Salt-, Lleida, where it has already closed a contract "but we have been with the authorization procedures for two years", and in Tarragona, where it carries out a survey to define the best location.
The Conforama chain belongs to the South African Steinhoff holding company, with a presence in 8 countries and more than 100,000 employees worldwide. The business in Spain and Portugal contributes 14% of the chain's global turnover, which in the third half of its fiscal year 2017-2018, at the end of June 2018, had reached 2.5 billion euros.
